Description

The SVT-410HLF delivers devastating low-end bass, all the way down to 28Hz, thanks to four 10” speakers working together to move a tremendous amount of air.

The SVT-410HLF delivers devastating low-end bass, all the way down to 28Hz, thanks to four 10” speakers working together to move a tremendous amount of air. The SVT-410HLF actually moves 10% more air than two 18-inch speakers, and 25% more than three 15-inch speakers! And those leviathans simply can’t respond to transient peaks as quickly as four tens can. The SVT-410HLF also delivers superb top-end, thanks to its 1” horn driver, strategically crossed over at 4kHz. The Ampeg SVT-410HLF is the supreme speaker enclosure for the multi-string bass player seeking both superior power handling and true high-fidelity performance.

Comments about Ampeg Svt410hlf Classic Series Ported Horn 4X10 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I use this cabinet for medium sized gigs. This has to be hands down one of the best sounding bass cabinets I have ever played through. I use an American Standard Jazz bass with MarkBass LMIII with a Tech21 SansAmp rack mountable pre amp and get the tone I've always heard in my head and on my favorite recordings but was only able to get in a studio through high fi monitors. This is the sound you want. When I hit a low E or a low B, it just fills the room with the most beautiful and clear low end you can imagine. Almost no attack, almost like it's coming from a Hammond B3 it is simply breathtaking. I got mine in Sam Ash/Carle Place NY a year ago and I have never looked back. I may get a 2nd one! You will not regret this purchase. Go for it! Better than the 610HLF. Goes lower, deeper, clearer than the 810, I don't know how it just does.

Comments about Ampeg Svt410hlf Classic Series Ported Horn 4X10 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I just purchased this from Sam Ash to replace a G&K 8x10 that was to heavy. I play shows and large venues on a weekly basis. I use a Warwick $$NT with an 450 watt Ampeg B2RE head. I took them both to the concert hall for sound check. After setting up the 410 HLF and dialing it in, I sold the 810 to the keyboard player. This cabinet is smooth warm and covers the entire spectrum perfectly. Bottom end is thunderous, midrange projection superb, and crystal highs. I will be back to buy another one. There is truly no comparison for the price.
