Comments about Carl Fischer Guitar Grimoire: Progressions & Improvisations:

This book, at most, is just a very big reference book of scales and modes. The kind of information that is contain in this book can be obtain in any guitar website; you can probably learn more from those site. At most, an average player will probably just use four scales from this and leave this book in a closet. This book is very confusing on its explanations or reasonings on the scales it presents; even my music teacher, who has a PhD in music, got confused with its logic. I don't advice this book to any beginner or casual players. Please do your research on the books that you are planning to buy before wasting money on it.
