      Comments about Jackson David Ellefson Signature Kelly Bird V 5-String Bass:

      Does this bass sound awesome? Meh, not really. Does it play as well as a Warwick? Not really. But it's cool. Plus it has a maple neck to offset the dark tone quality of the pickups and adds cut to the low B. I really dig this bass because of the vibe. Just because something isn't a 2 grand bass doesn't mean it isn't awesome in its own right. If you want something cool and different for an affordable amount of money this is a great bass.
