Description

The Iconic DM10 MKII Studio Kit. The Alesis DM10 MKII Studio Kit is a premium nine-piece electronic drum set with our exclusive Alesis dual-zone mesh drum heads (U.S. Patent 9,424,827) that deliver an unprecedented degree of realistic drum “feel” and personal expression for modern electronic drummers. These ultra-quiet mesh drum heads come closer to duplicating the feel of an acoustic drum head and their natural rebound better than any previous Alesis electronic drum kit. The Alesis mesh drum heads have a precise adjustment knob so drummers can adjust the heads to provide the exact response that best suits their playing style. Perfect for Studio and Live Performance. Designed for the studio and live performance, the DM10 MKII Studio Kit is a premium Nine-piece electronic drum kit and comes complete with five drum pads (8/8/10” toms,10” snare pad, and 8" Bass drum), four cymbals (12” hi-hat, two 12” crash, and a 14” three-zone ride), and the heavy-duty quick lock chrome Rack. It’s equipped with the exclusive Alesis tightly woven black mesh drum heads that dampen acoustic noise and provide a singularly natural drumming experience. Great Electric Kit!

By

from Cincinnati, OH

Staff Reviewer

This kit has a total of nine pads/triggers for your drums and cymbals, mounting rack, and a sound module with hundreds of great sounds. The drum pads have mesh heads to give you an extremely realistic feel, the cymbal triggers are "chokeable," and it comes with a pedal to control opening and closing the hihat. All you need to get this set rolling is a drum throne, kick pedal, and headphones or a speaker to output the sound!!

feels like the real thing

By

from edison

This is a great electric kit, the range of realism in the kick pedals adds to owning an electric drum kit that feels close to a real kit. These drums also have a vey natural rebound and bounce feel to the heads that simulate a real drum set quite well.

The DM10 MKII drum kit by Alesis is a fantastic buy and well worth the price! I bought this drum kit a few weeks ago and have been in love with it since. This drum kit is durable and can take a beating, great for both live and studio applications, and features some great drum sounds! The response on the DM10MKII is remarkable and gives such a realistic feel that you don't get from many drum kits these days. Additionally this drum kit caters to just about any drum players style, the creativity present is endless. All in all a fantastic kit and something I plan on using for quite a while.

    Great Feel and Sounds

    By

    from Edison

From sounds ranging from super realistic to full on electronic and with pads that get as close as any to feeling like an acoustic kit. This is great for tracking drums in a studio. Packed with great sounds or run it as a controller to your favorite plugins and you have an amazing tool for recording drums. This rivals any high end kits on the market right now at a considerably cheaper price point. A must buy!

The Alesis DM10MK2 is one of the closest emulations to a real drum feel on the electric drum market. The dual zone mesh heads call for a very authentic feel and expression, they replicate the rebound and tactility of a traditional acoustic drumhead. The response can even be custom tailored to the user via an adjustment knob. Perfect in the studio, the Alesis DM10 give excellent performance and feel in a compact and easy to use package

      DM10MKII

Here lies a 9 piece electronic kit. Dual zone triggers and a more realistic feel. They are a huge improvement over the MKI series Alesis e-kits. Plenty of options and well worth the money! Don't forget to add the service plan, it saves the hassle of sending it back to Alesis should something happen.
