Description

The exquisite all-Koa Fender Nohea tenor ukulele takes its name from the Hawaiian term “lovely” and delivers the soothing sounds of the Hawaiian Islands.

Fender brings you the authentic sound of the Hawaiian Islands with its first-ever series of ukulele models. Ukuleles are enjoying renewed popularity, with exquisite sounds and designs that are a far cry from mere musical toys. Originally built by Portuguese immigrants to the Hawaiian Islands in the 1880s, the small guitar-like instruments produced a lilting sound that instantly evoked the lush South Pacific atmosphere of their island homeland.

Upgraded to sound and play even better, Fender ukuleles now feature new bracing patterns, arched backs, thicker fingerboards, thinner headstocks, bone nuts and non-compensated bone saddles, and thinner finishes. The South Seas never sounded so good!

Comments about Fender Nohea All Koa Ukulele:

I had already owned a Lanikai concert series ukulele. Loved it but always wanted a Fender guitar. This ukulele is the best of both worlds rolled into one. It still has the size and look on a ukulele but the Telecaster guitar headstock shape gives it a bit of a rocker guitar edge. The sound is world above my other ukulele. I had to tune one of the strings more frequently than I would've liked until it was broken it, but I can live with that since its temporary. It's spectacular to look at! Very impressive look and sound! Great for practice or performing.

Comments about Fender Nohea All Koa Ukulele:

I love this uke and the fact which is all koa wood ( a beautiful wood). it wont stay in tune at the beggining but after acouple of days the strings will strech up and remain in tune. This is my first uke and I love playing it from time to time.

Comments about Fender Nohea All Koa Ukulele:

Just returned from the Wine Country Ukulele festival in St. Helena in Napa at the Beringer winery. The Fender Nohea was noticed by many folks especially the signature Fender headstock. Good tones throughout and nice edition to your collection of ukes.

Comments about Fender Nohea All Koa Ukulele:

I play this thing everyday. Looks great and sounds great. Intonation is consistant all the way up the neck. I really could not be happier.

I read some bad reviews about construction when these first became available, so I was a bit hesitant. I believe these have been worked out, because I have had not one problem out of it.

The only thing I'd suggest is putting Aquila strings on it immediately.

This uke was my x-mas presant and its amazing. The sound and feel of it is great. I couldn't be happier with my uke. I've never played a ukelele before but hands down the best sounding uke I've ever heard.

Easy to string. Fun to play. This is my first Ukulele ever. I never picked one up before this one. Now I play it every day. Who knew it was soooo easy. I hardly touch my Martin Guitar anymore.
