Comments about Yamaha Fg800 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

When you think of starter guitar, does Yamaha come to mind? Well it should, because Yamaha consistency raises the bar on what to expect at low price points. And we're not talking about a low quality brand here, either. No, this FG800, though entry level, will give you a great look on what to expect at higher priced guitars. That tone is so balanced and maybe on the warm side, as most Yamaha bodies exhibit. The finish looks super nice too! Just don't be disappointed if you find that other guitars can't beat this one! Just get it properly set up and you'll have a great learning experience!

Comments about Yamaha Fg800 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

Great looking and playing guitar. A great choice for any student or even as a back up acoustic for an experienced player. The Nato back and sides look great and tone wise, are very similar to mahogany. Great price for a great acoustic.

Comments about Yamaha Fg800 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

Definitely one of the best sounding guitars I've played in this price range. No issues at all with factory setup...nice bright strings, medium low action, clean frets, no buzzing. This would be at the top of my list for any student looking for first guitar as well as any player that is looking for a great acoustic on a budget.
