Extra heavy core on these strings mean they can be tuned low and still retain a stiffer feel. Less flop. Very bright sound and long life.

    I switched these out from 4 week old d addarios and these new strings sounded worse. they have zero tone and very loose tension. Ernie Ball has sounds better, and i cant stand ernie ball
