- The price
I've been playing bass for 8 years. I wanted to try a short scale and I'm glad I did. I just got it today and I've only played it for about 20mins and it's really nice instrument. The setup out of the box is really good and it sounds great. It ships with round wounds, I play flats & tape wounds so I'm going to change the strings. The build quality is really good for an Instrument at this price point. The back of the neck is smooth & fast and it's really light compared to my ESP's the walnut stain is a lot darker than the photo but it looks great. This bass is balanced, no neck dive and it's fun to play. The pots are just ok and the bridge pickup is a little noisy but for the price its really a non issue. I got this because I have arthritis in my hands and I wanted a bass that was comfortable to play, and it is. This bass is not a toy, it would be great for beginners/advanced players as well as guitar players that wanted to try bass. I'm very happy with my purchase and I would recommend this to a friend. This is great bass and you cant beat the price.
