I hadn't checked out this book until a drum student of mine brought it into a lesson and wanted to work from it. I had seen the book but never opened it...I already both practiced and worked out every day, so I didn't see the need! But I missed the point, and I'm actually angry at myself for not getting this book for myself sooner. From a motivational standpoint, it's great because it makes you learn a new exercise everyday if you stick to it. Then I would put an asterick next to the ones I really liked and wanted to work with further than one day! And the exercises span the spectrum of difficulty. I would highly suggest this book as a holiday gift for the drummer in your life, to use as part of a "new year's resolution" helper to practice every day.
