Over the past thirty years Kirk Hammett and Metallica have single-handedly changed the face of music, sold more albums than any metal band in history, and continue to inspire new generations of musicians. Kirk’s solos are a crucial part of Metallica’s dominating sound, and he has relied on ESP for more than two decades to make him guitars that meet his every need.
Kirk’s latest signature model is the LTD KH-WZ White Zombie, a reproduction of Kirk’s own guitar featuring artwork from the classic Bela Lugosi horror film of the same name. It features an alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with bat and spider inlays, a Floyd Rose bridge, and EMG active pickups. Each guitar includes a custom graphic form fitted case from the Tombstone Case Company.

Comments about ESP LTD KH-WZ Kirk Hammett White Zombie Electric Guitar:
After seeing Metallica this summer, I had to get one of these. This shipped from Sam Ash set up and ready to go. (Ok, I had to tune it.) The finish and bat/spider inlay job is flawless. The Floyd Rose system stays in great tune, even after a lot of abuse. I was surprised by the weight. Most modern Korean guitars are pretty light, but this thing is Les Paul-heavy, weighing 9 pounds on my scale. It makes it feel a little chunkier than it really is. The dense wood is probably why it has this wonderful chimey acoustic tone when not plugged in. Sounds awesome running through an overdriven tube amp. ESP calls the neck profile a "thin U", but I would call it a "standard C". Really comfortable for long playing, but a shreddy Super Wizard it is not. Since it is a bolt-on, upper fret access is kinda not great. About like a Strat and I don't hear too many people complaining about those. I know it sounds like I'm being picky, but I just wanted to point out the things that were unexpected. Overall, it's a great guitar and I enjoy playing it.
