Description

Korg’s groundbreaking minilogue is a fully programmable four-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer with 200 editable presets (100 preloaded), a 16-step polyphonic note and motion sequencer, arpeggiator, and delay. With its powerful, yet easy to understand signal flow, minilogue is designed to inspire and captivate musicians and analog enthusiasts on all levels. New Voice Mode lets users choose how the four available voices are configured; from Polyphonic to Duophonic, Unison to one-note Chords, and more.

In addition to offering up information on presets and editable parameters, the OLED display also features a real-time oscilloscope, providing functional, fun, and eye-catching visual feedback for the sound being played; a feature never before seen on a hardware synth.

Features:
  • 4-voice polyphonic true-analog with presets (200 total, 100 preloaded, all editable)
  • 16-step polyphonic step and motion sequencer
  • Voice Mode lets uses configure the 4 available voices or even limit them to emulate other types of analog synthesis (monophonic, duophonic, etc.)
  • OEL screen defaults to a real-time oscilloscope when other parameters are not being shown
  • Chassis-mounted, metal shaft pots; rubbed-coated knobs; high-quality and rugged
  • Curved aluminum panel and pyinkado wood rear panel for a look and quality unlike any other synth at this price point
  • USB and traditional MIDI I/O, audio sync for connection to electribe, volcas, etc.

I know what your thinking...what is an oscilloscope?!!! An oscilloscope lets you see the sounds when you bend them instead of just hearing them. That's just one of the feature of this machine. So if your a serious DEVO fan come into the store and try it on for size!

Comments about Korg Minilogue Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer:

Okay, the lack of availability should tell you that this piece of gear is wanted. It's wanted real bad. Why? Because it drips with awesome. Analog, at this price? Polyphonic? It made headlines at NAMM 2016, and there's a good reason for that. The build is superb, the features are amazing, and it's poly analog! Characteristically uncharacteristic, you'll love the tone shaping of this beast and get usable sounds in your recordings. The neutrality of this beast makes for an excellent gear to find your own tone. If you are learning to synthesize, this would be a perfect first synth.

Comments about Korg Minilogue Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer:

The Korg Minilogue is a must have when it comes to synths. It has a 16-step polyphonic note and motion sequencer, arpeggiator, and delay. This guy is so good it has quickly become a unicorn in stores as it is always sold out. If you can get your hands on it, get it. You won't be sad.

Comments about Korg Minilogue Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer:

From the first note I hit on the Minilogue, I was sold. The sound quality is incredible, and the built in oscilloscope really shows you what the sound is doing. The 100 preloaded sounds and 100 user sounds are all completely editable and can be recorded using the 16 track sequencer very easily. Also, the metal and wood construction ensures that this will stand up to the test of time.

This is a real hands on product review by Steve at Sam Ash Music in Lyndhurst, OH.
