Panorama controls Logic’s instruments like no other MIDI controller. Pressing Panorama’s Instrument button actvates the instrument home page which maps 8 commonly used parameters such as those that typically have the biggest impact on the instruments sound. In addition, each Logic instrument has been mapped with navigation that activates by simply turning the data control. From the popup menu, select the desired page, for example filter or LFO, and you’ll have control over the parameters relevant to that section.

Comments about Nektar Panorama P6 Advanced 61-Key Usb Midi Controller:
I use this every week with Reason 9 and Sibelius 6 to produce backing tracks and scores. Nice key action, not a grand piano, but great to play for everything else, including virtual organs. Every review I've read about the integration with Logic, Cubase, etc all confirm what I experience with Reason - it's a deep controller and the price is right. It looks great, too. The single motorized long-throw fader is very smooth for writing automation. The pads are not MPC, but they're not bad. I admit, I have looked at the DAW integration the new synth workstations now offer, but I can't find a compelling reason (no pun intended) to spend the extra bucks for what I already have (and more). With Sibelius, it's a simple plug and play. I'm no MIDI master, I just need something that works and this does it for me. I'm thinking of getting a little 25-key for backpacking and I'll have to get another Nektar product, no question about it. I will definitely replace it with another P61 if something happens to it.
