Comments about Pearl Tico Torres Signature 14"x6.5" Snare Drum:

Hi Fellas , Old & young , people of all shapes and sizes . I've been playing drums for the past 35 years and have tried many many a snare sound .. Nothing & I repeat myself ...NOTHING will get close to coming near the sheer all round tone & build quality of this one ...and to top it all ...It's got the free floating system . Get it and you'll be floating with a constant smirk on your face for the rest of your playing days & more . Whenever I play this friendly monster , all i get is an array of open mouths from people , sound techs and other drummers . If you manage to get your hands on it , keep it tight cause it'll be your loyal snare for life !

I've been playing drums for well over 30 years, and I honestly have not played a snare that feels, and sounds this good!

      [...]snare sound!

Comments about Pearl Tico Torres Signature 14"x6.5" Snare Drum:

"When I first saw this snare I was like whoa, ultracast AND free floating, could you get a better drum? I've done 3 gigs with this snare it is so loud you can feel it up your stick when you strike it! It's got a solid deep tone (from the 6.5"" depth), and when tuned high like I do it really has a sharp bright sound with amazing crack. I'd imagine it being free floating makes it louder and more resonant, although it is a thick drum so it's sound is focussed. Folks this drum is specified as 3mm thick but it actually bevels out half an inch from the top and bottom, and the bearing edges are actually 5mm thick (I measured with a ruler). The drums blurb does describe it best really, it has some warmth of wood but the attack is very sharp and metallic; definitely the best for rock music. A majestic drum, buy it! --Ben"
