Comments about TC Electronic G System Multi Effect Pedal:

The g system sounds better than any multi effects unit that I've ever used. The notes just seem to ring with more clarity than I can remember hearing in other units and the tone is great. Practically zero noise when used with good cables. The build is incredible ; it's heavy and feels solid. i have it plugged into a Marshall dlc40 and it sounds incredible. Thank you TC Electronics and Sam Ash!

Comments about TC Electronic G System Multi Effect Pedal:

this unit is advertised as a "splitable system", though not very well thought out. if you're going to rack mount this unit, you need to know that all power sources, loop bays and switch inputs go to the rack. there is no power source at the footswitch half of the system and the only 1/4" inputs are the exp and vol pedals. for what ever reson, the two units are connected with a cat 5 cable and you'll need to buy one as it comes with about 3" of cable.
as for cosmetics, your rack is going to look goofy with your cat 5 cable plugged in to the face of the rack unit as there is only one "footswitch" jack on the face. they thought far enough ahead though to put an input on both front and back of the unit.
this unit is not yet worth the money, i bought it because it was a great idea. if you're looking to clean up your stage and have a few stompboxes, look at a combinator.
this will take you a while to find just the right tone and effect, but you're sure to get there.i didn't like any of the factory presets, as a matter of fact, they're pretty cheesy.
to make a long one short....don't buy this for a rack set up.
