The Eve Audio TS108 Subwoofer offers superb definition, precise control over bass frequencies, with very low port noise and distortion, just like Sam Ash offers fast, free shipping with the lowest possible price. The Eve Audio TS108 is a self-powered 8-inch subwoofer with dedicated controls such as switchable satellite filters, phase switch and variable filter frequencies from 50 to 150Hz. The included remote control enables detailed adjustment of not only the subwoofer's, but also the complete sound system's volume setting from any listening position comfortably.
The Eve Audio TS108 is equipped with a highly-efficient PWM amplifier delivering 150W with a response of 27Hz to 150Hz and a peak SPL of 105 dB. The uniqueness of the Thunderstorm series subwoofers resides in the passive radiator mounted on the bottom of the enclosure. It replaces the common bass reflex tubes and eliminates audible noise caused by air turbulences within the tubes effectively and thoroughly. As the suspension design of the passive radiator has a restoring force underneath its tuning frequency, this helps reduce all inaudible excursions in the subsonic range, resulting in reduced intermodulation distortion at the audible range.
Aesthetically, the TS108 features a very clean and simple design cabinet with a grey control plate installed above the woofer. The TS108's exceptional power-to-size ratio is achieved though the use of premium components and careful quality control at the EVE Audio headquarters in Berlin.

Comments about EVE Audio Thunderstorm TS108 Powered 8-inch Subwoofer:
Don't buy it. The quality is total *beep*. I had to ship mine back (brand new, across the EU border) for repairs. The sattelite bypass wasn't working. Shipping and service was horrible, communication was horrible, all-in-all it took them 6 months to fix it and get it back to me. had to pay for all the shipping costs. This piece of "beep" ended up costing me x2 times what it was worth. And now that I got the "repaired" unit back - it still has some problems - the led indicators all go haywire (they constantly flash for no apparent reason when the unit is operational).
