Absolutely
I'm not a 7 string guy even though this is my 4th seven. As much as I wanted to be a 7 string guy, I just couldn't gel with one. All my 7s were $500-$1000 so I don't think it was a quality issue but more of a comfort issue. I owned a multi scale, shorter scale, baritone... None lit the fire for me. Still in love with the idea I picked up the HT7P and things changed. Instantly. I was thoroughly impressed with this guitar the instant I picked it up. The nut width made this guitar immediately comfortable for me. It feels like a 6 at the nut! The fit and finish are on par with a sub 1k guitar. Zero major issues. The neck is smooth and extremely stable. The routes are clean. The action was extremely low and played very well (too low for me). No dead spots or hight frets. The frets were a little sharp but was easily remedied. The pickups and electronics are really good. Everything works. The pickups are responsive. That said I found out who Misha Mansoor was (yes I had no clue when I bought the guitar) and I think I'm going to drop his signature BK pickups in it. Now that I've been able to completely dial in this guitar to my playing style, I'm becoming a 7 string guy! I'm feeling very inspired. Wish I had purchased this guitar earlier.
