This guitar features a maple on mahogany Les Paul body, exceedingly playable specs, and dual Burstbuckers with coil-tapping capability, pure bypass, and phase switching. The Les Paul Modern is made for the player who loves the Les Paul and wants to take advantage of all the progressive design features that have come forth since its inception.

Maple on Mahogany Les Paul Body
This Les Paul modern has a mahogany body with maple top, showcasing a beautiful wood grain and giving it excellent sonic qualities. The body is made with ultra-modern weight relief, making it comfortable for anyone. Even more resonance and sustain is afforded by the mahogany neck, set into the body with a new modern contoured heel.

Exceedingly Playable Specs
This Les Paul Modern has some very cool specs that make it as playable as ever. It boasts a compound radius, genuine ebony fingerboard on top of an asymmetrical slim taper neck. The combination provides excellent playability, no matter your style. The mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays add that classic Gibson flare. The bridge is a Nashville Tune-O-Matic with a stop bar tailpiece. Coupled with Grover Locking Rotomatic tuners with keystone buttons, this guitar will stay tightly in tune when you're rockin' out.

Dual Burstbuckers with Coil-Tapping Capability
For outstanding sonic versatility, this Les Paul Modern takes the classic Gibson dual humbucker design and levels it up. There's a Burstbucker Pro Rhythm pickup at the neck with a Burstbucker Pro + Lead at the bridge. Both are calibrated for some excellent tonal power. Even more impressive, all the knobs are push/pull for additional sonic brilliance. The two volume knobs are push/pull and engage a coil-tapping feature, giving each blazing hot humbucker a sweet P-90 style single-coil sound. One tone knob puts the bridge pickup in pure bypass mode, running straight from the pickup to the output jack. The other push/pull tone knob is a phase switch. Clearly the Les Paul Modern has a lot of options for you to find your sound.
