With built in speakers, an exceptionally lightweight design and optional battery powered operation, you will never have to put it down.

Packed with Sounds and Styles
With a custom built in sound engine the DK6200 contains high quality samples of various types of pianos from the traditional acoustic concert grand to electronic and pipe organs . But Benjamin Adams doesn’t stop there because you can also set up the keys to play other instruments including various types of drums and string instruments including electric guitar and string ensembles with violins. To get you ready for your first band, the keyboard has over 128 diverse rhythm styles you can play with to start getting used to timing so you can accompany other instruments

The Benjamin Adams keyboards are designed for Piano 101 as we like to say, so you don’t need to worry if you haven’t had much experience on keys or with other instruments. The Perfect Starter Keyboard

The DK6200 is the perfect portable keyboard for any non-experienced or beginner player! This keyboard is definitely designed to be taken on the go and is also battery operated! This keyboard also has the ability to Midi so you can easily use this as a controller to your computer. It comes with tons of pre-programmed sounds to add along to the fun. You can record what you play or play along with some of the pre-installed backing tracks. All in all, you'll have a great experience when purchasing this keyboard.

PERFECT ENTRY-LEVEL KEYBOARD

5

This is a great feel and sound at a price that will make you say "Maybe I should start learning how to play keyboard!" 4 and a half octaves gives you more than enough room to play a big two handed chord and play with your high/low dynamics and with over 150 voices you'll never get bored. Compact and light. Has a display that tells you what you are playing which is very helpful for learning. Has a mic in and 3.5mm (headphone) out, but the built in speakers are surprisingly loud and clear. Overall great bang for your buck and would make a great gift, however if you need to be able to use a sustain pedal, you will need to look at a different model. The DK6200 at a very similar price has this feature as well as a few other improvements on this model, such as more keys and better speakers.

The Ideal Starter Keyboard

Anyone who is just starting on learning piano/keyboards with no prior experience should seriously consider investing in this. The Benjamin Adams DK2600 is an easy-to-use, easy-to-figure out, and easily portable keyboard that's great for kids who are interested in taking up keyboard. The number of pre-set demo songs to learn can help make learning easy for kids who aren't quite ready for reading sheet music either with its intuitive LCD screen that helps you look at what you're playing and what you should be looking for. As far as drawbacks go, the sound-quality isn't super professional; I can't imagine serious musicians in chamber groups, orchestras or established bands wanting something like this. It's far from an accurate representation of an actual piano or keyboard, but for anyone who's just learning from the very start, this thing can help a long way. While you may want to upgrade if you want to seriously consider pursuing piano, this would be a great start. This is a Sam Ash employee review
