This unit works really well for our purposes!! BlueTooth mic works great to accompany background tracks delivered, also via Bluetooth, from a laptop. Sound is quite good; volume has been adequate for our use! Setup was easy reading directions! Unit not as heavy as the XP108. We are very pleased with this purchase!!

We use this system for monthly meetings of around 40 people at various locations. The system worked great and we have even referred other people who needed something similar. Lots of positive comments about the sound and clarity. Only wish it came with a bag/case to transport and store the equipment safely. Also great service from salesperson "Mo".

I needed PA system at the last minute for an employee party. It was very easy to use and it was not intimidatingly complicated at all for a novice. I tried using it personally to listen to music and it had very impressive sound quality! I love sound systems and I think this system is worth the money at a great deal!!

I like singing and I have been singing with karaoke tracks using a studio microphone into my computer. I wanted something the be able to learn how to sing live with a dynamic mic and to use for pool parties and karaoke parties. This is a smashing unit. Super powerful for the size and easy to use. Bluetooth synchs up much better than other speaker devices I own. Singing into a dynamic mic is a skill that I am learning and I am happy with the mic although I will be getting a wired mic to make the comparison. Strongly endorse this product for anybody looking for a versatile portable sound system with karaoke possibilities.

I'm a busker, and I've been looking for this exact system for years! The Holy Grail of busker sound! Busking the sensible way requires portability, plenty of rich sound, no worries about power, no expensive batteries to replace, and a clutter-free performance area. This does the trick and much more. Features that are already revolutionizing my busking act are: 1. Bluetooth: I sing with background tracks, and this picks up the tracks on my iPhone easily. I can control the volume of the tracks, and track selections, with my phone in hand. 2. The wireless microphone and receiver are a dream. Now I have great, powerful sound (far more than I need) and no worries about cords to trip over and pack away afterwards. 3. Easily rechargeable with 20 HOURS of use! 4. Because it is wireless, I so much less to pack, unpack and set up when performing. What Samson has done is remarkable, and I encourage buskers to check this out. OTHER THINGS I LIKE: 1. My busking equipment is now completely pared down and my performance area is clutter-free. Just me and my mic, the amp (with the tiny receiver attached), and my hat (plus my iPhone discretely tucked in my pocket). A minimalist system that allows the audience to focus on me, and not junk laying around or cords to trip over. 2. The built-in handle is very handy. 3. The weight (16 lbs.) is easy to carry around through subways and sidewalks, with a cart or in a medium-sized duffel bag. 4. The price is very attainable. In two performances, I earned back 20% of my capital outlay in tips. This will pay for itself quickly. (I bought it on the Christmas in July special.) 5. Samson has earned my trust as a brand after past successes with their products. 6. I am amazed that the quality of the wireless microphone is so good for the price. I thought it would be an after-thought, but it sounds awesome. It is well-matched with the amp. 7. Plain black design; I don't like colors or logos creating visual clutter. ACCESSORIES I'D LIKE TO BUY SEPARATELY: 1. A small protective travel case for the mic and receiver. 2. A cover for the amp. 3. A wireless headworn mic (wait, that's coming soon!). 4. An auxiliary rechargeable power source with AC inputs for small devices, preferably one the XP106W can rest on as base to keep the footprint small.

We bought this unit for use at our wedding and it did everything. I took it home and plugged it in. Within a few minutes I had conected my phone via blue tooth and was able to entertain guests with music until we began making anouncements with the wireless mic. At the ceremony, the lute and flute played under a wired mic and we heard them clearly over the ocean waves. The priest used the wireless mic to deliver the ceremony and we couldn't have had an easier setup/ transport. The battery on the spake is still runnin from the initial charge and he batteries n the wireless mic are still functional. I am completely happy with the features and quality of this product.
