The Concert 288 Handheld features two CH288 Handheld Transmitters with Q6 Dynamic Microphone capsules. These handheld mics bring maximum versatility to any dual-user application, particularly duet performances, as well as audience participation and interview situations. This mic has great sound but I have two issues with it. It has no battery life indicator and unless you keep your hand tight to the mic you can hear your hand moving.

It's a great microphones! But you have to do the IR set up it's very important and do it go on YouTube to learn how to after that ir set up the microphones should be super fine sounds very good no drops out again do the ir set up . Specially after you change the batteries or you change locations.

I bought this in a pinch about 6 months ago because all of my regular mics turned up missing. I used it with my Samson 308i portable PA and the concert 288 fit the bill perfectly because it was two mics in one affordable system. I used the mics for both speakers and singers. I've used much more expensive wireless mic systems, but honestly, if there's a difference in sound quality, I couldn't hear it and the lower cost certainly makes up for any sacrifice if there is any. It was extremely easy to set up and at first I did have some interference with a UHF mic system in the hotel meeting room we were in, but a quick change in channels took care of that. I'm not a Sam Ash reviewer, I'm a customer and I plan to buy another one soon.
