The Samson RS112A 400W 2-Way Active Speaker offers powerful, versatile, and convenient sound reinforcement to a wide range of audio applications. Easy to transport and set up, this powerful speaker features an onboard mixer with mic/line input options, Bluetooth audio streaming, plus a USB Wireless port for connecting Samson XPD Series wireless microphone systems.

Power and Drive(rs)
With a bi-amped design (separate amplifiers for high and low frequencies), the RS112A offers greater efficiency, more accurate sound, and an impressive 400 watts of power. This power is realized through a 12" extended range woofer with a large 2" voice coil that provides excellent coverage and clarity, while keeping the low-end tight and punchy. Meanwhile, its 1" tweeter adds smooth, crisp highs to produce a balanced audio image.

Mix Matters
The RS112A speaker features an onboard mixer equipped with two selectable Mic/ Line XLR-1/4" combo input channels with variable compressor controls. An additional channel offers an 1/8" line level input, Bluetooth connectivity, and a USB Wireless port for use with Samson XPD wireless microphone systems (sold separately). The RS112A speaker also includes an XLR Mix output for daisy chaining additional speakers to expand your sound system.

Protection and Placement
In addition to its high-impact polypropylene cabinet construction, the RS112A is fitted with a full metal grille that provides maximum component protection. The cabinet offers horizontal/angled floor monitor positioning options, as well as a 1-3/8" pole mount for stand placement. In addition, the RS112A includes convenient top and side carry handles for easy transport.

Excellent Value and Versatile!

This speaker is a great value. We are using it as a drum monitor and it works fine. The limit light goes off at a fairly low level even with the output from the Roland drum kit turned down, but it is still more than loud enough for practicing in a house or even with amplified guitars and bass. It's sound quality is good. It has been used as a Bluetooth speaker and works well for that too. It gets a little distorted at higher volumes and the overall sound is not as good as a high end powered speaker, but this speaker is a fraction of the cost of a high end model.

great for amateur in home setups

Great price, and has full sound spectrum. Speaker is a little bulky so watch out if you have limited space. Has more than enough power to fill my house. My wife and I are running an electronic drum set and electric guitar through this speaker. It sounds good when we jam together

Perfect mix of quality and price for a beginner

I bought this speaker as my first PA for garage band type shows. Features are a bit bare, but with my 4 channel mixing board she screams, anything from crystal clear cleans to driven vocals. Also, I didn't know my acoustic/electric guitar could sound so great. Loud enough to keep up with a full drum kit and my 30w 2*12 cranked and distorted. Bluetooth built in is an added bonus, crank my phone playlist for get-togethers. Would absolutely recommend especially to a first time buyer. Great value and quality.

the truth is.... these speakers are great especially at the price. they are clear sounding, constructed very well and well, just great for home or small venues. i dont think you will be sorry.
