Relay G30 redefines the wireless experience for guitarists and bassists. Its superior sound, professional dependability and refreshing simplicity are simply unavailable from other wireless systems.

Superior Sound
Relay G30 provides a pure signal. Its clarity rivals that of the highest-quality guitar cables. Guitars get a beautiful high-end sparkle and basses get a thunderous low-end punch, even at distances of up to 30 meters. Traditional wireless systems compromise their sound by rolling-off crucial high- and low-end frequencies and compressing their signals. Relay G30 offers superior sound with full bandwidth and zero compression.

  • 30-meter range, line-of-sight
  • Broad 10Hz – 20kHz frequency response
  • Superior 118 dB dynamic range

Professional Dependability
Relay G30 broadcasts its robust signal over the 2.4GHz band. This keeps the signal free from many kinds of interference. For added security, Relay G30 employs exclusive signal protection technology: it broadcasts an encrypted data stream on six channels simultaneously.

Traditional wireless systems, on the other hand, are susceptible to dropouts, static and many other kinds of interference. Broadcasting over congested UHF bands, their signals may be affected by interference generated as far away as 160 kilometers, or more.

  • The 2.4GHz band is optimal for guitar wireless
  • Encrypted data stream for added signal protection
  • Simultaneous broadcasts on six channels

Refreshing Simplicity
Relay G30 is a low-profile system that’s easy to use. The lightweight transmitter remains out of the way of your performance, and the rugged receiver can sit on top of your amp or be added to your pedal board. The receiver offers bright and easy-to-read LEDs that display power, status and battery life. And the standard 1/4-inch ins and outs deliver real convenience.

The system comes complete with transmitter, receiver and all necessary accessories including cable, power supply and batteries.

  • Lightweight, low-profile and easy to use
  • LEDs display power, status and battery life
  • 8 hours of battery life

Attached to Your Guitar Cable?
For players attached to cables, adopting a wireless system introduces many questions: What will it feel like? Will it change my sound? Relay G30 sounds just like a cable, but it also sounds just like your cable. Relay G30 features two EQ settings that match the frequency responses of typical guitar cables. Different players use different cables, but all players can use Relay G30.
  • EQ switch provides guitar cable frequency response

The Wireless Revolution
Relay G30 is proudly ushering in a better-sounding and more dependable era of wireless guitar systems. It will inspire you to explore new areas of your music and the stage.

Relay G30 is approved for use in Europe, South America, Asia and Australia.

Good sound, fragile battery door.

Great sound, portable, decent construction. However Im a mechanical engineer and whoever designed this has no idea about live music and the need to provide durable equipment. The battery door and belt clip are the weak link. They can and will easily break. Prior to breaking mine, I have since applied heavy duty epoxy to the back of the unit and reinforced the belt link foundation and battery door. This is no longer an issue. If you break the belt link or battery door, the unit will only be usable with duct tape or some other cobbled together contraption.

Definitely recommended

This is an awesome wireless system. Completely removed my 1/4" cable out of my way! Great system to have and easy to use. The only con is the AA Batteries die out within an 8 hr span. Wish it was a rechargeable system. Otherwise, very happy with it.

Great product

My son is a bass player at School of Rock in Wake Forest and he wanted a wireless system so he could move around the stage during the performances and run through the crowd during the show.

Lightweight, compact and reliable

Packs well for the space and weight conscious.

Solid, reliable, great for Bass!

I have had a top of the line sennheiser wireless for years now, but wanted a 2nd one so I could also have a 2nd bass ready to go with wireless, as I was using a cable for my back up basses. I did some research and have other Line 6 stuff that I have been very happy with for years (rackmount Bass Pod Pro, etc.) and watched a recent gear rundown with Billy Sheehan's rig with Winery Dogs, and he was using two of the Line 6 G50's, so I figured if it's good enough for him to tour with... Have been very happy with the G30's, never had any issues with dropout, and the sound is clear and I'm getting ALL of my low end too! I use rechargeable AA's, and no issues with those in the G30 either.

Wireless for bass guitar

I've had my G30 wireless now for 6 four set gigs. I've only used two sets of Alkaline batteries though they would have probably lasted one more gig each. I've gotten lots of compliments on the big deep rich sound and I'm pleased also. I've had Shure and AKG wireless before but they were way weak on the low frequencies, so much so that they were pretty much unusable. My 20' cords wouldn't reach from my amp to the mic stand on bigger stages so I made a 30' cord. Killed my tone. So I read the Line 6 reviews that said the G30 sounded "just like a wire". It doesn't, I can hear just a little more timber with a cord, BUT. It is very little difference. I wouldn't record with it but in a live gig, I can't hear the difference. I have great equipment - '83 NT NJ BC Rich Eagle, SansAmp BassDriver DI, Hartke 3500 (modified tube), SVT610HLF - and it makes great tone, so I can definately hear everything clearly. I switch between cable tone selections at times and that is a welcome feature. I think the only thing I would change is having the rack mount G90. That just wasn't in the budget, but I made a good choice. I don't have any problems with the battery door because I make sure the slide release is fully closed (use your thumb nail to cinch it). I bought mine from Sam Ash because they were way less than EVERYBODY else. Ordered on a friday afternoon and got it tuesday morning, nice. I'm very happy with my Line 6 G30.
